Our standard package is perfect for home-owners, builders and developers who require planning approval and the necessary building regulation drawings also known as construction drawings to carry out the actual building work, making sure the design complies with the latest building regulations.

These construction drawings are in-depth which include what materials must be used to reach the required U-vaules making sure your new building will be warm and energy efficient.

Which materials, sizes and combinations must be used to ensure the building will be structurally sound, free from defects and which specific steps need to be carried out during the build stage to eliminate future problems with your new building.

Due to the Government’s Legislation Changes which took effect from 1^st October 2023. Building control inspectors who visit the site for inspection will require a principle designer under regulation 11D and will require written declarations before any final certificate can be issued.

As a result... If you instruct Kent Building Plans to carry out these drawings. Then we will also act as the 'principle designer'. Any changes to our build design in-terms of material changes, build methods or structural changes in the design would need to be confirmed by us when acting in this role before being carried out.

If you are using a builder, the same rules apply. Any changes to the construction design and its elements must be confirmed by the principle designer.
